elizabeth: bride to be

i have wanted to share these bridals for the longest time, and now i finally can (because this miss is now mrs. wilkins)!  back in mid-october i met up with this gorgeous bride on some beautiful property up in weaverville, nc.  the scenery and weather were perfect.  elizabeth couldn't take a bad picture, but these are 3 of my favorites...

it's funny how music (and Jesus) can bring people together.  james is amazing on the guitar and he plays in the worship band with my husband at our church (Newspring)!  it was a blast hanging out with him and his family one evening and doing their session in their own backyard.

this gorgeous, young couple are tying the knot in november.  i absolutely love the energy they brought to their engagement session and the fact that they've been sweethearts for almost 4 years!  the backdrop for this fun photo shoot was beautiful downtown asheville, north carolina.  elizabeth's smile was so contagious and zach's laid back personality made for a great morning.

meet the cavileer family!  heidi is a great mom and owns cupcake, an amazing sweet shoppe downtown in the vista.  i joined her and her boys at the beautiful riverbanks botanical gardens one morning last month.  it was a warm one, but i am thrilled with how the session turned out.  here are some of my favorites...

lots of giggles and sweat come to mind when i think of this session.  i had so much fun following (running) around this little lady.  mary grace had such a fun personality and i loved all her energy.  we tried to beat the heat by doing the session in the morning, but there was no way around it in july.  thank you so much sarah for making the drive to columbia, you have a beautiful daughter!  here are just a few of my favorites from that morning...
